With HealthVault you will have access to your patient's records from other healthcare providers if the patient grants you access to that information. Is that beneficial for patients' health care?
#Response DateOther (please specify)
.11/13/2007 3:07:00 AMwould likely take too much time to search what is needed
.11/15/2007 1:37:00 AMsame as 6
.11/19/2007 2:00:00 PMAnything that obscures information about the whole person; ie physical health, mental health, or substance abuse, is not beneficial to the patient's care. If there is secrecy involved, then it is possible to "hide" important information that would put patient care at risk in the long run.
.11/20/2007 3:14:00 PMmight be
.11/20/2007 8:39:00 PMFacilitates communication tremendously. We are always calling ER and other health care facilities for records!
.11/22/2007 6:01:00 PMmaybe
.11/22/2007 6:03:00 PMI don't understand; only the patient can enter information. How can I get another doc's records
.11/22/2007 6:28:00 PMOnly if the information in relatively complete, and not filtered (slanted)
.11/22/2007 10:01:00 PMin other words,I like to see doctor-based network not patient-centric one
.11/22/2007 11:09:00 PMif the info is to be useful it needs to be absolute, either we all have access or no one should in order to ensure the completeness of the info communicated
.11/22/2007 11:37:00 PMIn theory yes, but the potential for this is unlikely to be realized
.11/23/2007 12:24:00 AMIn exceptional circumstances
.11/23/2007 12:29:00 AMPotentially.
.11/23/2007 12:49:00 AMOnly if the information is accurate
.11/23/2007 1:20:00 AMyes
.11/23/2007 2:15:00 AMmaybe
.11/23/2007 4:50:00 AMnot necessarily - depends oc trustworhiness and completeness of records
.11/23/2007 7:34:00 AMbut already available simply by having the records come with the patient.
.11/23/2007 2:05:00 PMWe should be able to do that anyway if it affects our care. seperating health information is bad for patient care
.11/23/2007 2:20:00 PMcomplete and transportable medical records are always helpful
.11/23/2007 5:01:00 PMPossibly, but need more information on security and how information could be used
.11/23/2007 6:00:00 PMYes
.11/23/2007 7:30:00 PMAgain, if there are not too many omissions engineered by the patient
.11/24/2007 12:39:00 AMBut I have frequently been extremely frustrated with our current computer system & programs, their lack of reliability, & inability to communicate with one another. It has shaken my confidence in medical computer systems.
.11/24/2007 12:36:00 PMpossibly
.11/24/2007 7:12:00 PMan idea whose time had come years ago. !
.11/26/2007 3:03:00 AMnot necesssary
.11/28/2007 12:41:00 AMmaybe
