| It's been widely reported in the media that in 2007 these companies made an agreement with the USA Justice Department whereby they would reveal detailed information on their physician consultant arrangements if the government would not investigate them for anti-kickback violations stemming from their use of consultation payments to influence doctors' usage of their products.
