The Vytorin-ENHANCE study was done on patients with a severe form of familial hypercholesterolemia that were previously being treated for elevated cholesterol with other agents. Can the results of such a study be applicable to patients who have a non-familial elevated cholesterol secondary to age, obesity, poor diet and sedentary life style?
